FIU.NET BUREAUThe FIU.NET Bureau is part of the Directorate-General for the Administration of Justice and Law Enforcement (DGRR). Within DGRR, the Administration of Justice and Law Enforcement Policy Instruments Department (DIRR) is overall responsible for the FIU.NET account and embodies the FIU.NET Bureau. The Bureau carries out the DG JLS Project centrally and deals with logistical matters, is responsible for the development of FIU.NET, the Network Operation Centre and the FIU.NET Helpdesk, provides support to connect the EU Member States and provides public information about FIU.NET. It assists the Director and the EU Member States in accomplishing the set goals.The Director FIU.NET sets out the policies, also those related to the implementation of decisions taken at the JLS FIU.NET Board of Partners level, of the FIU.NET Bureau. The Director is accountable to the Director DIRR of the Dutch Ministry of Justice and the DG JLS FIU.NET Board of Partners.The FIU.NET Bureau staff is compiled of six civil servants and four external employees; in total 8,5 full-time equivalent. The external staff is employed through framework contracts of the Dutch Ministry of Justice. |
