This Final FIU.NET Project is dedicated to perfecting FIU.NET and its use.

FIU.NET in its original sense is meant to strengthen the position of the FIUs. Over the past years FIU.NET developed from a secure basic tool for structured bilateral information exchange to a secure multifunctional tool for multilateral information exchange, with case management features as well as (semi-)automated standardisation of processes. In FIU.NET, every new feature and automated process are optional, with no strings attached. It is up to each FIU to which extent it deploys the possibilities and features offered by FIU.NET; they just use the features they feel comfortable with and exclude the ones they do not need or want to use. This flexibility is both the foundation and the strength of FIU.NET and is leading in any future development.
